I was looking for a natural way to get rid of pimples and heard about Witch Hazel. I was hesitant to buy Thayers rose petal one because from past experience I'm HIGHLY sensitive to fragrance. (Even natural ones). But I bought this anyways and here's what happened... The first day it felt really good on my face and the smell was amazing. I had high hopes! Second day, my cheeks and nose started to break out in small pimples. I still continued to use it thinking it was the adjustment period. Third day, my chin started to show signs of hard cystic pimples developing (you know the kind that are under your skin), and my skin was STILL breaking out in the places that I had applied it the most. This time, I stopped using it immediately! I'm still giving this product 2 stars because I think that it could work for some people. However, if you are like me and also sensitive to fragrance then I would not recommend. It will make you break out! Maybe getting another witch hazel without fragrance would be better?
