Apparently I'm not the only who has had an allergic reaction to this product
Others have stated this as well, but I bought the Hydraglyde version on accident, after having bought the regular Clear Care solution for many years. I didn't think anything of it at the time of purchase. As soon as I sanitized my contacts in this solution for the first time, and put them in they next day, a bump on the whites of my eyes nearest to the corner of my eyes developed almost immediately. After a couple of hours it went away, but the entire time my eyes would be very itchy and burning. Then, the next day they started getting crazy puffy and burning, so I stopped for a week because I thought maybe it was just my annual allergic conjuctivitis. Then I put them in again. Within two minutes, and having taken them out in the first 30 seconds because my eyes started itching like a motherf****r, the condition you see in the pic I posted happened. This lasted for at least 8 hours. I could not close my eyes completely without the whites of my eyes sticking out between my eyelids, so when I went to bed hours later, I had to roll my eyes back, then close my lids in order to keep the whites within my eyelids. Well, I waited almost two months, and then tried putting them back in just now, but only in my right eye. I had it in for only 10 seconds before the burning and itch started. I took it out, and at the moment my right eye looks the same as it did in that pic. There's something in this Hydraglyde formula that is a common irritant for a lot of people apparently. I don't recommend it. I have thoroughly rinsed my lenses now, and have put them in the regular Clear Care solution. I will try again in the morning, and if it happens with THAT solution too, I will update this review.
