Mattress not worth it and customer service is horrendous. Purchased a dreamcloud a little over a year ago and absolutely loved the mattress. It was the most comfortable mattress my husband and I ever slept on and we were 1000% satisfied. The mattress was luxurious with a cashmere top and was elegantly tufted. A year later, the mattress started to dip near one of the edges. It became uncomfortable so we called dreamcloud and explained the defect. They agreed that it was a defect and sent us a new mattress a part of the warranty. Unfortunately, the mattress that they sent as a replacement wasn’t close to the original mattress that we ordered and paid $1200 for. The new mattress did not have a cashmere top, it was not tufted, it did not have sidewall support and it was flimsy (it almost folds in half when you pick it up). The worst part is that it lacks the “cloud like” comfort and support of the original mattress. It did not feel like a luxurious mattress and at best it felt like a mediocre hotel mattress. We called dreamcloud and explained our situation and they said that they changed their original mattress, the dreamcloud one, to the dreamcloud 2. They said that the quality of the new mattress is better. Unfortunately, the quality is not better and it’s quite obvious that they cheaped out by removing the cashmere top, tufts, sidewall support and the overall comfort of the mattress. We requested that they send us the dreamcloud one (the one we original had) and they said that they don’t manufacture that one any longer. We then asked for our money back as we did not receive the same product that we ordered and they refused. Very, very disappointed with this company and their product that they now sell and market as a quality and luxurious product. At best, it’s a $600 mattress that’s not comfortable. Sorry for the long post, but I believe people should be warned and not tricked into a “quality” mattress when they removed all the quality and still sell it for the same price. Save your money and shop for another mattress that truly is comfortable and worth $1200.
