When I first got this gown I loved it. The fit was perfect and the material was very soft. Then I washed it. I followed the directions. When I pulled it out of the dryer, the sleeves were 1/2" shorter and the length was 1" shorter. This should not have happened with a cold wash and delicate dry but it did. If you plan to wash the item in the washer and dryer size up. I usually size up but did not with this item based on the information posted on Amazon.
