Buyer Beware!!!
This is not a game with in app purchases. It is an application masquerading as a game, with the sole purpose of using methods that encourage , coax, trick, persuade, and other, far more misleading, dishonest practices to convince the player to spend more and more money on in game purchases. The concepts come from " Gamification Theory" , which is the science that Law Vegas casinos utilize to separate players from their cash. (Books on this subject can be found on Amazon.) In short, the games are addicting. How addicting. I have watched a person I have had a close personal relationship for over thirty years playing this game for the past 6 months. The person I am referring to, due to circumstances I will not get into here, supported himself by gambling in a casino , weekly for just over 7 years. He did so successfully, resisting the siren like pull that casinos exert upon winning players and did it with with sheer will power and discipline , supported his family and then quit when a job opportunity became available.. This same person not only resisted gambling addiction but after a year fatal car accident was revered to a hospital pain clinic where he was prescribed high doses of Oxycotin and Fentyal for 16 years. When an alternative method of controlling his pain became available he discontinued the narcotic pain medication with less difficulty than I experienced when I stopped drinking coffee. All these stories of resisting addiction is to make a point. After just 3 months of playing this game he was spending so much time playing and money on in game purchases, that he endangered his job, his marriage and could not pay his monthly bills. ( Morgatage, car payments, credit cards etc.) I pointed out to him the techniques the game programmer's were using to encourage him to spend more and more money, gave him a book on gamification theory and he deleted the game from his Kindle, shelved his Kindle and purchased an Apple I Pad. You might think , yeah , yeah, it won't happen to me. I have heard crack addicts say the same thing. To put it another way , an individual playing this game was spending between $200- $500 a month on in game purchases after only six months. After a $500.00 initial investment to a NJ online casino , the same individual did not invest any additional funds after 7 months and had earned $388.00 real dollars. The fake casino game was responsible for more financial losses than both a real casino and an online casino application. There is no casino gaming commission monitoring the computer game. Organizations that help gambling addicts are not aware of what is happening with these games. You may think you are not susceptible to the addicting technologies being utilized in these computer games. However, if you have not heard of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Ericsonian Hypnosis and Gamification Theory of it you cannot even spell them ,then buyer beware of you deserve what you get. How do you think we got stuck with Donald Trump as President.
