These things used to be great. In fact I bought a 3 pack during the tradition to them cost saving the traps. The old model looked more like a real apple and had a internal holder for a wick that would do a great job releasing the scent to attract the fruit flies. When i received the 3 pack with wick holders (old design) and no wicks i thought the product was defective and returned them. 6 months go by and i order another 2 pack thinking it was a fluke. Nope. The wick holder is now completely removed and thus are pathetically ineffective. In a weeks span the tap has caught 10 fruit flies. Soaking items in my sink have caught 3. A unfinished wine glass has caught 40. Save your money. Don't buy these. Get a $10 bottle of wine, drink 95% of it and leave the last 5% out to catch all your fruit flies. Never buying again.
