Ten months in: at about month 7 this bed began to breakdown. Meaning our "sides" began to break in, even after rotating the mattress. It has gotten so soft on each side that I've had to place padding under the fitted sheet to maintain any support. I have more back pain and headaches now than ever and find myself on the couch or floor for a good night's sleep. The center of the bed and the head and foot edges are in much better condition, but even the sides, when sitting on the bed, compact and make this bed impractical for sitting on to get dressed. This mattress may be adequate for a guest room with minimal use but I would definitely not suggest it for nightly use. We figured for $300 we would give it a try, and maybe if you need a quick fix for a few months while you save up for a quality bed this would work. Otherwise, keep looking. By the way, we are average size people so weight is not a factor in the failure of this product.
