The only reason I gave 1 star is because they are comfortable to sleep on, but they do not keep my head cool.. Now they are colder if you do not use a pillowcase on them but they started pulling apart after a couple of days of use. These are supposed to be able to be used without a pillowcase as it already has a washable removable cover on it, but like I said it started making all these little snags in it then beading up sort of how nylon would and I do not wear anything that would cause that to happen in my hair. I paid 50 dollars for these and am very upset they did not do as they claim they do and snag as they do
