Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought this remote before reading any of the reviews. Big mistake. Everything about it seemed normal when it arrived. Except that it didn't seem to work even after I put three different sets of brand new batteries in it. Luckily Amazon was great and refunded me right away. But now I was curious. Why would it not work? So I decided to open it up. As you can see in the picture, there was a big hole in the circuit board, oddly enough in the exact spot where the setup button is located on the face of the remote. The first button you're supposed to press upon acquiring your new universal remote. WTF GE? This seems kind of deliberate. :/
