Putting this thing together was like bathing a cat; Plenty of dread before actually doing it, uncountable scratches, and frothing at the mouth with anger while profanity to make a sailor blush vomits from your mouth. For the FIVE hours it took my husband to put this thing together, I locked him in the room so our kids did not see his head turning in circles like the possessed. There were about 20 missing washers, almost ALL the “pre-drilled” holes were not actually drilled with anything larger than a pinhead and the foam protectors were mis-aligned. Made in China. Not likely that he or I was about to call customer service because for the price, it just wasn’t worth it. But don’t buy this and expect it to be a breeze. Once it was together (gasp!), it was a hit with our three toddlers and truthfully there aren’t many options out there for a 3-kid seesaw, so that’s the good part. Most seesaw’s will launch the kid still sitting when one kid gets off. This one is far safer because of the frame, length and weight. My kids are hooligans and can make a balloon dangerous so I know what I’m talking about here. The worst that’s happened so far is a foot getting pinched underneath the main frame for the rocker but if they keep their feet up on the elevated bar, as designed, no problems. Or...at least, they won’t do it twice. Fun colors, sturdy frame and hard plastic seats make it worth the hassle of construction. I won’t be leaving it outside to rust, but it fits great in our playroom!
