READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BUYING! Do not go solely by the picture. I have posted a screen shot of the posted item AND two photos of the actual fruit basket taken by the person I sent it to. I was really disappointed in what was sent by the seller, Golden State Fruit Orchards. In the seller's post they show 2 D'Anjou pears AND 2 other pears (1 red & 1 golden), 2 apples, 2 large oranges & 3 Mandarins. The basket received had 3 pears, 2 apples, and 3 large oranges. The following is the description posted on Amazon by the seller: "This festive basket of 2 Comice Pears (D'Anjou pears substituted when Comice are out of season), a Red Pear, 2 Braeburn Apples, a fruit in season, plus a Navel Orange and three Mandarins (an additional Navel Orange may replace the mandarins in certain seasons) for a "just right" gift!" I feel this is false advertising "fluffing the photo" to look more attractive than what was actually sent! My recipient of the gift did not receive the "fruit in season" in her basket as was stated in the description. You can tell by most of the other reviews that I am not making false claims. Therefore, I feel justified in writing this negative review! I will never order from this seller again. Sorry Golden State, you need to live up to what you are promoting!!
