So disappointed
We purchased this safe for our insurance office in August 2014. On March 3, 2015 when I opened the safe, the door handle fell off in my hand, thus making the safe inaccessable. It took several messages and about 1 hour to receive a return phone call from the seller. She walked me through some other options to open it that did not work. Then, I was emailed a form that needed to be signed, notarized and returned, and she would send me drill points. While I understand and appreciate the necessary security on the form, I had that form back to them within 20 min, but after several hours, still did not have the drill points. In the meantime, I had called a locksmith, he came out, opened the safe, diagnosed the problem as the handle did not have a lock bolt on the inside, so the other bolts fell off, and so did the handle. To me that was clearly a fault in the workmanship of a safe that had been in use barely 7 months. I emailed the seller back with all receipts and a cut and paste of their warranty, yet they denied me any repayment. I understand (not really) not paying for the service call, but they also denied payment of the $25 parts and labor to repair the safe.
My disappointment is twofold, that the safe broke in the first place and that the seller did not stand behind their product. The only good thing to come out of this experience is that I now know who to call to get it open next time it breaks.
