Five stars? Really? From sleeping together the second time they meet to the shameless cliffhanger with the words "To be continued" in the next book, this book was one disappointment after another. Do I have issues with this story? Disappearing wounds, a shotgun that apparently holds more shells than manufacturers claim, normal police and medical procedure ignored, a high school kid able to walk in front of a house to check the address in broad daylight while carrying a shotgun (have you ever seen the size of a shotgun?), yet never noticed, police and FBI stepping over each other while working the same case, stupid law enforcement unable to connect the dots and, my biggest pet peeve, blaming it all on a young mind warped by prejudices of a gun owning, hunting, military family. This book is like reading a liberal's nightmare. I wish I could wash it out of my brain.
