Not easy for a handicapped person to reopen once it's folded.
This product is sturdy and well made except for one important thing. When it is closed and one wants to reopen it, the appliance becomes awkward and sometimes won't open because the pull knob won't move. To open it, one has to stand it on its rear wheels, pull the knob and lean the appliance toward the front wheels. Setting the brakes on the rear wheels hinders putting it into and getting it out of the car. Setting the brakes after you get it out of the car will stop its rolling around before you can get to that knob, but nothing but strong pliers will pry that knob lose. Who wants to carry pliers around? If you are strong enough, you can force the knob to turn in a counterclockwise direction which will loosen it so it can be pulled, but most people who need to use this are not that strong anymore. If you have arthritis in your hands, it can't be done. This problem happens off again and on again. If the manufacturer would change this one thing, it would be a five star product. (I carry pliers.) but as it is, it is a two star. Today neither the pliers nor turning the knob counterclockwise (I couldn't budge it) worked ,and I had to skip shopping and go home. When I got home, I tried vice grips to pull and to turn, but neither worked. I was about to put it on the railroad tracks, when I laid it down. Lo and behold, the knob loosened to easily pull. But I still lowered the review to one star. Wonder if I can return it? I sure didn't keep the box.
