The screen is well designed so most people probably won't need this screen. Schmutz on the screen can be easily wiped off. The protector sheet actually comes in two pieces so you'd have a seam running down your screen or across your screen depending on how you mounted it--real real stupid way to do it since the Kindle screen isn't huge and they ought to have been able to provide a one-sheet protector (they do it for windows so they can make it in bigger sizes). Just save your money.
