quit agter 2 months. ***update** Figured it out. There is a small push button area under one of the screws on the upper lid. As far as I can tell the screw was covered by a small spike that pressed the button to insure the lid was closed. Mine broke. I 'fixed' it by putting the head of a crayon on the button. Still one star. This seems like a design flaw.
