Was this product on sale because it had defects? I am seriously asking. I was so excited when I received my saucepan that I decided to try it immediately, I put some oil in the saucepan, waited for it to be warm to add some vegetable when suddenly the bottom of the saucepan started burning, and smoking. I immediately took it out of the stove, rinsed it with water, just to discover a long burn mark in the pot, as if the iron itself had melted (see picture). I have cleaned it countless times since then, tried to use the pot again, this burn mark is definitely permanent and most likely due to a material defect in the saucepan. I would of course very much appreciate to get a new one!
