Unit arrived yesterday. Its been running for about 24 hours. I'm on the 2nd tank of water with about half a tank left. My room is about 180 square feet, with 10 ft ceilings. The room started out at about 15% humidity, and the unit keeps the room at about 60% humidity running at full capacity. Pros: Runs Super quiet, nice size, looks clean, long run time, no need to buy replacement filters, and great features (auto shut-off, cold and warm mist, timer, auto humidity settings, LED off option, nice remote, easy to use, essential oils port" Cons: None of the buttons on the face of the unit work. So I think I received a defective unit. I'm using the remote instead and as long as the remote continues to function, it will be ok. There is no disinfect/antibacterial function - which is fine, it just requires weekly cleaning. However, Weekly cleaning will not be easy - multiple parts to dissemble and soak, lots of hard to reach nooks, corners, and pockets, total clean time with disassembly, vinegar, then bleach (as directed) will take 30 mins, plus an hour of soaking the parts. Also, no hard water filter, so you have to use distilled or filtered water. Also, the humidity sensor on the unit is always off - I have two other humidity sensors in the room that read 15-20% higher than the what the unit reads. Overall, its pretty good, I'd give it 4 stars if the buttons on the unit worked. The design needs refinement, but mostly good overall. UPDATE: Day 2, the heat function wont stay on, the timer function randomly turns on, it turns off on it's own, this unit it trash. Calling the manufacturer tomorrow. I hope its just a faulty one.
