If at first you don't succeed... My attempt to buy jeans before this one left me very unhappy with that item's wholly unpredictable fit, so I returned those and ordered these. I've ordered this item before with good results but the color I like has been unavailable, so I broke down and finally ordered them in another color. Well boy howdy, I might as well have not bothered. The fit in the waist and hip is good and true to the provided size chart, but the legs are skin tight like leggings -- not at all correct for relaxed fit straight leg. So these are being returned too, and though I know I should "try again" I'm becoming very wary.
