I'm not really sure how long the 'transition period' is supposed to last, but I gave it two weeks and it never got any better. My hair literally felt filthy for two weeks. It lathers easily, and smells amazing! But it leaves my hair with a waxy substance on it and it makes it very heavy and greasy. It also left a really gnarly soap scum looking wax build up all over my brush, that I've since had to throw away. Maybe I wasn't rinsing well enough... But I couldn't possibly rinse anymore than I had already been, considering my hair was matting in the water, post lather. I've never used a shampoo bar prior to this, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I don't believe I can continue using one. It's too much of a headache just to save a bit of plastic... So I've chosen a different route to conserve and canceled my subscription. With that said, this review is not for JUST this product, it very well may apply to ALL bar shampoos, but I'll never know. I gave 2 stars, the smell was great and it lathered easily, minus a star for gross feeling hair, minus a star for having to throw my brush away, and minus the last star for my hair matting in the water.
