Not durable and pitcher cannot be machine washed
My initial incentive to purchase the Nutribullet 1200 watt blender in January 2020 this was name recognition and price. While not inexpensive, the price was roughly 1/2 the price of other blenders. The moral of the story is that you get what you paid for. First issue was the pitcher leaking oil, an issue that began about 4 months after purchase. After calls with customer service, I discovered that the pitcher cannot be machine washed. I guess I should have read the instruction more clearly. Nutribullet sent me a new pitcher. Now, just over 1 year from purchase, the unit is losing power and a burning smell is being emitted from the motor. This cannot be blamed on user error. I read the instructions and have been very careful about not running the motor on blend for more than the prescribed time (although sometimes items not fully blended). For the next blender, I will spend a little more for a product of better quality (from a different brand!)
