Basket coating does not last.
Edit: For those with chipped baskets, you can remove the handle from basket, discard the basket and keep the handle to continue to open and close the pan since the handle is what locks onto pan then just place a cooking rack inside pan to cook your meals on. Replacement basket is always sold out but why buy another basket that will eventually chip, just use a cooking rack instead.
Doesn't matter how good and quick this cooks, the basket coating does not last! The black coating is chipping. How can I prep a meal knowing black coating will come off and onto food?
I looked into warranty and basket is only warrenteed for 30 days, coating last about that long then chipping started and in some spots it's bubbling. I visited manufacture website and they sell a replacement basket for $16 that is always sold out, coating chipping must be a common issue for so many to buy a replacement basket.
