Bought to keep my beagle/golden/Australian Shepard puppy (9 mos) in our hallway during the day. It lasted three days before he completely mangled it and knocked it down, after previously bending the bars and screws. We leave at 8am, and it was down by the first time our dog walker came by at noon. Great to keep human babies out of rooms, but I would not recommend this if you have a dog that's not happy about the gate and weighs over 30lbs. I'm sure a large dog could push it down easily.
