Don’t buy this generator, the company does not value its customers. At the 20 hour mark changing the oil there is absolutely no hint of oil filter to use as replacement. I called the company to get a part number and a service manual. Their answer was that they couldn’t not release the service manual only to dealers and that I would have to take the oil filter down to the auto parts store and match it. “Really”. So taking the filter down and matching turned out not to be a in and out situation. It took me half a day of running around to get what I’m hoping will work. Let me also mentioned I emailed their customer service my displeasure and guess what? No response. Pretty disgusting overall when you pay 3k for their generator. The last red flag is they must have a gorilla assembling their generator, in my 50 plus years I have never had an oil filter that was so tight I dint think it would come off. It was so tight I began to question my conventional wisdom that maybe there was some new way the specially made the filter that maybe it did not screw on. Of course if they would sell or provide the service manual I could have verified it. Buy from a company that wants to support you and their product, not this company. They have some serious internal problems. Unfortunately it looks like I have to give 1 star in order for it to submit. Negative stars if I could.
