*Edit* I have owned the camera for 3 months now and I am no longer able to connect to view any videos. On the very rare occurrence that I am able to connect, the camera is no longer recording to the sd card, so it is nearly useless. I am trying to work with customer support and they are being very responsive, but pretty unhelpful. They are telling me to do things like reinstall the app on my phone and restart my phone (which i did). My phone has nothing to do with whether or not the camera is recording to the sd card I have mounted in the camera... I have good WiFi connection, as well as fast internet, so it is not a connection issue. Unfortunately I believe this is some sort of hardware or firmware issue. I am still working with them on getting it fixed. We will see. There is a good chance I will be buying a new camera in the near future. See original review below. 2 stars for working well during the 3 months it did work. Let me start off by saying that I already have a ring pro doorbell. I love it, but could not justify the price of their outdoor cameras. After reading reviews for this camera and the Netvue app, I decided to pull the trigger. The app makes this camera very easy to set up. After that, all you need is a drill and a screwdriver. It comes with mounting hardware and a hex (Allen) key to adjust the mounting base. It took me 15 minutes to setup and install. The app is really what sets this apart from other cameras in the price range. You can adjust the motion sensitivity and zones. There is a subscription based cloud service, as well as the ability to install up to a 128gb microsd card in the camera for recording. The wifi range is quite good. That is one of the issues I had with my Ring doorbell. This is significantly further from my router (about 30 ft) with no issues. The build quality is also quite good. A good portion of the camera and mounting base/arm is metal. I would recommend this camera to anyone.
