If you're reading this, chances are you are like me. You got excited when you saw this great, unique-looking coat, even more excited when you saw the price, and are leaning towards buying it. Here's some things to consider before you do: THE GOOD First, the fit was good. For me (5'11, 165 lbs, slightly athletic build), the US M fit well. Second, it looks good. It does look like the picture from afar. THE BAD Unfortunately, the fit and look were the only good things about this... First, the material feels cheap and looks cheap upon close inspection. I know, I shouldn't be surprised because of the price, but it was really bad. From the first day I had it, loose threads started showing up everywhere. Also, if you're looking for something that will keep you warm, look elsewhere. It was like wearing a thin sweater. Second, the buttons are plentiful and useless. They are shinier than you would think, and only the 4 down the middle actually button. Literally every other button is just sewed onto fabric. The buttons on the pockets don't serve any purpose, and neither do the ones around the chest. The flap above the outer-zipper that looks like it's covering a pocket is nothing. Just a flap of cloth. The buttons on the cuffs don't serve to loosen or tighten them. Third, the inside zipper is frustratingly deceiving. It looks like a double-layer right? Wrong! The "second layer" is a thin piece of cloth that includes the zipper and collar, but it's buttoned on to the outer-coat. Under the coat, it doesn't even go more than 2 inches in. It's such a skinny piece that you can see between the button-connecting gaps to the shirt underneath. This may be hard to understand, but if you're reeeaaally curious, buy it and see for yourself. All in all, I will be returning this jacket ASAP and hope you read this and save yourself the trouble.
