I was so excited to see that High Key has cereal! I ordered the cocoa flavor an anxiously awaited my delivery. My cereal box was shipped in a soft Manila envelope, not a box. The cereal box was smashed (shocker). I pulled it out and wondered if I accidentally ordered a mini brands version. The box is tiny. You only get 8 oz, which is substantially less than a regular box of cereal. I was assuming it would be a normal size box of cereal for almost $12! I poured myself a tiny kid sized bowl (1/2 c is a serving) and put unsweetened almond milk on top. I immediately took a bite and was surprised at the strange texture. It wasn’t satisfyingly light and crispy like cocoa krispies. It was dense and a bit chewy. The flavor and texture were not terrible though. It had a classic cocoa cereal flavor. I love High Key and every product I’ve had so far- especially the cookies- but this cereal is a serious rip off. I’d pay $7 tops for this box. That’s what my 2 stars are based on- value.
