Shame on you Intex! I'm on my third pump this season & we just set up our pool in May. This pump does not last! We've read the manual & operate as instructed. Such poor quality. These are just made to be landfill fillers. I'm currently looking for a replacement that will work for the oval pools. Contacting Intex is a joke because although they're supposed to have a warranty, they don't honor it! If you get three months out of these pumps consider yourself blessed! Buyer beware! Pay more for something that will last!
