I have had nothing but problems with it - it has gone back for repairs 5 times. It's hilarious. My first repair took 5 weeks. The most recent took 5 days. Regardless, both times they shipped a unit that was also malfunctioning (loose / droopy gimbal mid-flight). One of the worst experiences with a device of any piece of gear I have ever owned. My 3DR Solo was, in hindsight, a joy to use and many of those images are my favorite still. Not so with the Mavic. It's been terrible.**** ----- previous review below ---- The drone is pure magic. Portability is where it's at. It's quiet, fast and capable. The software is OK- it could be better. The UI to do smart flights is not nearly as good as 3D Robotics (A US company that DJI helped topple). In everything else though, DJI is quite horrible. Shipping was late by weeks, the unit had an issue where the center of the frame is yellow in each image, and it takes a while to tweak the controller settings to get smooth looking flight. It went to repair and I haven't seen it in 3 weeks. DJI's communication style is opaque and 3rd world. It is not like Apple and doesn't come anywhere NEAR western standards. They have zero accountability for what they put in print or tell you on the phone so there is a cultural chasm between the excellent products they bring to market and the ridiculous, crappy, funny, strange customer service that one experiences. There are literally pages and pages of complaints from bewildered customers waiting to just get word from DJI about their status. DJI's communication is the worst of any company I've experienced, especially one that is making millions in sales monthly. Pray you got a good one.
