Follow Up Review 9/19/20: I loved these garbage pails until both lids stopped working. It is about 9 month later and neither work. I will seek a new brand. I read other reviews that experienced the same problem - just bummed, too good to be true. Awesome !!!! Just love my new garbage pails Following up 11/20/19 - So I love the can soooo much I am buying number two, and here is the reason why. This pail is beautiful to look at, is quiet, works well and is so efficient and compact it fits anywhere. So much so i decided to buy #2 to use as my recycle can and set it next to garbage pail. I bought the trash and recycle labels and I am all set to go managing my recycles and garbage so easily. Update: Bought a set for friends for Christmas, SCORE!!! Can't beat the price and it makes for a pretty pair of pails :-)
