This mattress is very comfortable when sleeping alone. When sleeping with another source of weight, yes including your dog, it seems to cave in towards one another. I wake up feeling great and refreshed when I sleep alone but when I sleep with the dog in my bed, I wake up with an achy back. It’s like it sucks you towards the other source of weight in your bed. The mattress does seem to keep you cool and doesn’t transfer motion. Seems to contour to your body so you don’t toss and turn as much. I would rate this mattress 4-5 stars if I always slept alone.
