I bough this item for my 5 years old about 4 months ago; which I still considered to be a recent purchase. However, one of the plastic straps from the inside (the one that holds the foam or padding and the shell together broke (it was probably glued) from the helmet. I'm not sure if I can even fix it or if I do, would it be safe again? It is winter therefore the amount of times my son used this helmet is just a few. His last helmet lasted a very long time (he actually outgrew it). This one appears to be not very safe. I bought due to the amount of positive reviews.
