★★☆☆☆
Lots of filler
I was looking for something more practical and less abstract. I bought this one because of the massive amounts of positive reviews, but it was disappointing. Check out this useful "graphic" of the section header placed on some folders. You know it's a graphic because it tells you it's a graphic, and even gives you a helpful figure number to reference, in case you hit a point later where you suddenly think WAIT A SECOND I NEED TO SEE THAT PICTURE OF BLANK FOLDERS AGAIN.
That's almost a quarter of the page right there. Then add in things like chapter recaps, which always take up a full page, even when the chapter itself was three pages long, and what you have is a 90-page book pretending to be a 250-page book.
There's very little practical advice in this book. I don't need to reevaluate me definitions of "ideas" versus "opportunities." What I need is things like an overview of what categories to include in my chart of accounts. Instead I got some meaningless "graphics."
It gets two stars instead of one because there's some nice blank pages in the back for taking notes. I filled those up with things I was learning from other sources while trudging my way through this book.
