These worked for about 4 hours then, like others have said, they just fold over the stem or leaf or whatever you are trimming. They have a serious alignment problem with the blade tips. One blade will over extend the other in an attempt to trim. I think they were designed like this as it seems it would help them make a better cut but it absolutely doesnt. I have 2 pairs of the orange handled brand one pair plain steel and the other pair with gold coating like these. Even being years old they cut better than these. I dont recommend these at all. Spend a little more and get something that actually cuts. I have no clue how some of the items on Amazon gets the overall ratings they do? Must be passing a lot of freebies out or something.
