This sander just blew up and started a fire in my shop. What looks like a capacitor of some sort is the culprit. I've had this 8 months and maybe used it 3 times, still on the original belt. In the middle of sanding a piece of pine, a loud POP from the machine, everything slows down, kills the breaker, and then lots of smoke and flames out the bottom. Removing the bottom access panel tells the story. It says not returnable to Amazon, so i'll have to figure something else out. Buyer beware!
