I've had this power adapter since August with no issues and now of course the return/refund window is now closed. Everything was completely fine, it charged my things well and I had no problems. Until today. I'm working from home and I started smelling burning plastic and I'm trying to find the source. My boyfriend confirmed that he could also smell the burning scent and we started to unplug the devices from the wall (my laptop and the adapter). Nothing felt hot at the base of the adapter but I unplugged it and that's when I saw that it had singed two of my usb charging cables AND BURNED A HOLE INTO MY CARPET!! This could've easily resulted in an electrical fire....
