Curdled my coffee, typos and labeling confusing
I purchased this collagen because of Amazon's posted article stating it was the best one for individuals over 40. I was not pleased with the quality control. First, it curdled my coffee twice. I've been adding collagen to my coffee for years and this is the first time I've had a collagen powder do this. Some simply do not mix well but this actually curdled it. I drink my coffee with a small amount of half and half so I thought it might be that it was old or expired but that was not the case. I drink two cups in the morning and only add the collagen to my second cup. My 1st cup with half and half would be just fine so I thought it might be the coffee itself. I switched to a different coffee the next day...same thing. I couldn't get the collagen to mix and my coffee would turn dark with chunks of curdled half and half and collagen. I prefer my coffee smooth without chunks so I had to throw the coffee out both mornings and go without collagen those days. I thought about adding the collagen to a different beverage but at this point I didn't trust the quality of the product. Another thing I noticed was the wording on their labeling. Peptides was spelled wrong in the ingredient list....ok I guess I can overlook that but when I read the instructions for use, they didn't make sense, like there were words missing. It said to, "mix one tablespoon or more times daily." So is it one or more tablespoons one time daily or one tablespoon one or more times daily? It was confusing to say the least. So at this point I don't feel comfortable using this product and it is going back. Hopefully wholesome wellness can start paying closer attention to their label print prior to them going out on their containers and correct the curdling issue.
