I read all the reviews on this spiralizer and I have to say, someone is padding the ballot box on this item. Note: if you have a counter that is NOT a smooth surface (e.g. a tile counter, a wooden counter) this product's vacuum stick stabilizer WILL NOT WORK. And, the product cannot be used without being stabilized. I even tried a work-around by suctioning the spiralizer to a metal sheet pan which resulted in an inelegant dance of me chasing the product around the counter top. The plastic used for this product isn't strong enough to hold the vegetables in place. If it could be stabilized, it worked well for soft vegetables like zucchini. Harder vegetables, like sweet potatoes, twisted around in the teeth of the vegetable holder. If I applied enough pressure to actually spiralize the potatoes, I was likely to break the suction of the surface or break the plastic handles.
