By FAR, the WORST purchase I have ever made from Amazon. Bought this safe in May of 2014...it has been in a cool dark closet for a year. I have opened it on occasion to add things or remove things (probably 3x in a year). I recently went to open it, and it simply won't open. You can feel the crappy plastic parts give way as you try to open the handle. I contacted Sentry, but they seem more interested in "teaching" me how to open the safe (inferring that it's operator error), instead of admitting that their product is a piece of garbage. No choice but to have a locksmith open it for $100. It is cheaply made, and I have learned my lesson about buying from Sentry. All of that being said, I contacted Amazon regarding the incident and within HOURS they refunded my entire purchase price...no questions asked. Amazon has always stood behind their products, and for that reason I remain a customer for life. Sentry will never have my business again. Spend a little more and get a safe that doesn't have any plastic pieces.
