Somebody may find this character delightful, but I couldn't stand her. I first heard about this author from Book Bub so I purchased it and seriously regretted it. First of all, I hate stupid women books. In this case, in all books, someone was trying to kill her and the police and her boyfriend wanted her to stay home safe. Although promising she would, she goes haring off and getting in more trouble. Additionly, in the 3rd book, she doesn't care about anyone else. She wanted to talk to a character between classes at the local college but arrives late. So instead of waiting, she goes into the lecture, finds her and proceeds to talk, interrupting the lecturer and continues despite being asked to stop, resulting in the student being tossed from class and thought the student was rude when she gave her the finger. I also did not findvit humorus when she went after the victim's sister, who worked in a pet shop, tripping and causing an aquarium to fall and several fish to lose their lives. And when she went after another aquaintance of the deceased, she made an excuse to show up at a reunion an proceeded to trip and spill an entire bowl of mustard potato salad over her. I also do not like liars, whuch she does all the time because she's more important than anyone else. I do like to try new authors but I won't be purchasing any more of hers.
