I diffused both this oil and the lavender one 3 times - I used a modest amount with plenty of water and set my diffused on the lowest mode. One morning my boyfriend and I both woke up horrifically ill - coughing, body aches, couldn't breath, pounding headaches. It was terrible, but we figured it was just an unlucky case of the flu. Fast forward one week later, we had just gotten back from traveling and woke up to the same terrible illness. This time I began to get worried. I moved the plant next to my bed, I washed our sheets, I aired out our room, and I thoroughly cleaned out my diffuser. A few days ago we were both home (self-distancing) and I decided to freshen up the apartment a bit by running the diffuser with this oil and the lavender oil from the same brand. I had a sneaking suspicion that this oil was causing our mystery illness, but also figured I could just be paranoid. Around 7 pm that night, my boyfriend and I were back to being sick - unable to breath, body aches, chills, pounding headache.... a feeling that had become *very* familiar. That's when it occurred to me that each time we had felt this I had been diffusing these oils. I have diffused both eucalyptus and lavender oils from other brands with no issue. These are NOT SAFE. I will be reaching out to the seller for an explanation. TL;DR - I diffused these in my home 3 times and each time me and my boyfriend became violently and painfully ill.
