Don’t buy this if you want to sew plush fabric or even nice fleece. I was sewing plush blankets for my twin great grandsons and this machine would NOT MOVE THE FABRIC THROUGH. I have sewn 6 blankets now and have had to PULL the fabric through every inch of sewing. I watched the video. I changed the needle, I rethreaded the machine, I cleaned it down under the bobbin. I have sewn for 60 years. I called Brother and they told me to do everything I had already done. So they told me to take it to a service center....which I will do. I bought this machine in October 2018...and shouldn’t have to take it anywhere to get fixed. I am 79 and I know how to sew. I wish I had bought a different brand. This is my third Brother....NEVER AGAIN. By the way, the specifications list the weight of the machine as 19#..which is what I wanted...it is only 13#. I think I should get a refund or a new machine. I would choose no star but they made me or my review wouldn’t send. One more thing. I wanted to put the g.grandsons names on their blankets.....my machine would not do it on this material.
