Another subpar wanna be knock off - UPDATE 3/6/2021
Great battery life, but I am looking to replace my Versa 2, so I am wearing both for a week. Heartrate pretty spot on with the Versa 2. Steps are soooo much lower. It does not seem to track when your hands are in your pocket, or resting on your leg while using stationary bike or sitting on elliptical.
You are limited to only 4 different clock faces. The only thing you get to see on the screen is time, date and battery level. You have to swipe in one direction to see steps and another direction to see heart rate. I am being kind by giving it 2 stars.
UPDATE 3/6/2021 - Company contacted me and offered me a new model of the watch. Pretty much all of my concerns are addressed. It does 24/7 heartrate. It also now increments steps while my hands are in my pocket while walking or resting on my leg while using a sitting elliptical. The most important thing though is that the stats of steps and heart rate are on the face of the watch.
The reason I can only five it three stars though is for two glaring missteps. One the battery level can only display 0, 25, 50, 75 or 100%, so when it is showing 25%, I don't know if I still have 1/4 battery level or it is going to die any second. I have multiple times looked at the watch only to see it dead. Even the cheapest tracker out there knows how to show actual battery level. Two, the app does not send any notification when the battery is low, like a fitbit. If it did, that would solve the first issue. I am sorry, but I just cannot endorse the newer model either.
Of course, this review is for the newer model, so it may not be a good gauge of how you consider the current model.
UPDATE 5/31/201 - Lowered it to 1star. After about two months, the watch no longer turns on with the raising of the hand and turning of the wrist. I have to press the button now. This watch is now useless to me and is in a drawer. In this day and age with technology it amazes me that I cannot find a step tracker that has the basic functions and is reliable. It's time to give up my obsession with 10,000 steps and heartrate.
