I purchased this jacket to replace a fleece, zip up hoodie that was having zipper issues. I am former military service and like the design of the jacket with its may pockets and moral patch options. My first impression of it was that it was not as thick/heavy as I thought, although I haven't been cold in it yet. The zippers concern me a little. They are kind of stiff and difficult to get up and down. I am hoping that this will improve over time and with use. The arms have thumb-holes in the ends, and I don't know how to feel about that. It feels odd for me to wear it with my thumbs through the sleeves, but if you don't the sleeves feel a little long because that was how the jacket was made to be worn. All in all I am not unhappy with it, but there are some aspects that are yet to be evaluated and will take a little getting used to. I may update my review as time goes on if I have additional information to add. UPDATE: I have had this jacket for only a little over a month and the zipper now separates almost every time I try to zip it up. Not too happy about that as it make the jacket almost useless. I was afraid of that happening when I saw the very fine tooth zippers on this product. I would advise not to purchase based on this failure. Update : jacket is basically worthless. Zipper separates immediately when zipping. DO NOT BUY!
