I had high expectations for this product. I needed to rip thirty 14" long, 3/4" wide strips of 1/2 inch walnut. Through the first cut the gripping surface held tight and made a clean cut. However, as sawdust stuck to the green surface, it slipped and I lost control of the second and any subsequent cuts. After four or five cuts it was unable to push the wood through the cut leading to a dangerous situation with the wood half way through the cut. To use this tool means you have to remove the saw's guard and splitter. Any miss-applied pressure will twist the wood into the blade sideways. Yet another danger. In the end I switched to feather boards and push sticks to complete the job.
