I purchased a patio set on 8/4/20 through Vir Ventures. Besides my chairs taking over a month for me to receive them, one of the 4 boxes was damaged in route which also damaged the chairs inside the box. I had telephone, email & texting communications with Vir ventures giving them photos & explanations. They gave me the runaround for weeks informing me they were awaiting word from their manufacturer, Walker Edison. On four occasions Vir Ventures informed me my replacement chairs were on their way even giving me dates of the end of the week and they would follow up with me. Since they never followed up, I was forced to consistently following up on my own. Vir Ventures permanently blocked my cell phone number and the only way I was able to reach them was through a friend’s cell. I was able to get a hold of Walker Edison’s contact number and was informed that there was no order for me in their system. After much research on my and Walker Edison we discovered that for 3 weeks WE was awaiting information from Vir Ventures and the ball was in their court and they had no return communication with them for 3 weeks. Walker Edison apologized and offered to send me replacements for the two chairs at their cost bypassing Vir Ventures. Since I also had minor issues with the table I purchased through Amazon via Vir Ventures, Walker Edison offered to send me the replacement parts vs working with Vir Ventures and having to take the table apart and returning it. After a couple of days WE contacted me that they were willing to send me a total replacement of the table at no cost to me and to keep the original table. As of 10/18 I received a new table and I am very pleased with the final outcome thanks to Walker Edison and their team. FYI I did contact Amazon, and they informed me if I did not hear back from Vir Ventures to disassemble 4 chairs and a table and ship it back to Amazon and Amazon would credit my account. After spending a LOT of time and frustration putting the set together, we did not want to go this route. My recommendation is Amazon discontinue doing any sort of business with Vir Ventures as a vendor. They are totally unprofessional with their customers by not returning calls, not telling the truth, not following through and blocking their customer’s calls. I would also recommend that Walker Edison also not do business with Vir Ventures. Thank you so much Walker Edison and their team for their support & generosity. I am happy with my chairs and table.
