We were hiking backcountry when a park ranger saw our bear bells and explained to us that bear bells actually make bears interested in what the noise is, and follow it. She said that she was watching a bear on a hike, and a group of hikers had a bear bell with them. The bear stopped what it was doing and walked towards the noise to see what it was. So basically, bear bells don't work at all and this seller is trying to scam you. Dont buy this product!!!
