I dont post as many reviews as I should but when I do, it's either really good or really bad. This is not a good one. Bought 3 of these items at the same time after over looking at the reviews. I spend lots of time looking for a great air filtration system for my home so my family can breathe fresh air. Got 2 for both kids rooms and 1 for my room. Filtered fresh air is priceless to me so I wasn't looking for a cheap option, just a reliable one! I run them 24/7. They worked for almost a year the 2 of them crapped out. One started having an electrical burning smell coming from it along with some noise. I ignored it for a week or so then the second one just completely died. I had to buy boxes that were around $34 for both and ship them back to the manufacture at my expense that was $103 bucks because of the size and weight!! Ground! The were returned with refurbished models about 2 1/2 weeks later and were scratched up and looked used which frustrated me. Mine were out the box in mint condition when I sent them in. I had to spend money on 2 new filters for them which are expensive. Its been about 3 months since I got the refurbished ones and one of them is making noise again! I dont know what to do. Im at the point where I'm considering calling it a loss and looking for another one from a different manufacture. You might want to look for a better option if you ask me unless you want to spend more month down the road warrantying the one you but and costing you almost 1/2 the cost of a new one.
