I'm not sure if the material is a weaker plastic or what, but my dog destroyed this tray within a week. It cracked right through and then he actually consumed a 5x10" section out of the corner. The one he had prior to this lasted many, many years and was only replaced due to a crack from wear. I wouldn't buy this again unless we couldn't find something else that would fit inside our dog's crate.
