At least listen to your customer feedback
As a former combat Marine, I've had several shemaghs. This particular one from Rothco stinks to high heaven (combination of skunk and diesel). After contacting Rothco I was was told by Rebecca DiChiara, customer service :
"These all come with an odor, we do advise that these be laundered."
After three washes maybe I'll try tomato juice...
